My name is Pollycarp, and for more than 25 years I built my career as an IT professional.
Like many people, I believed that if I worked hard, stayed committed, and did everything right, life would eventually become easier. My wife also spent 16 years building her career in banking, so together we worked hard to create the best life possible for our family.
When we moved to Canada, we were grateful for the opportunity. But to be honest, life became busier, more expensive, and more demanding than we expected. We had less time, more responsibilities, and very little flexibility.
And as we got closer to retirement age, another thought kept creeping in.
Was this really going to be enough?
For many of us who moved abroad after the age of 45, the reality is difficult. We simply do not have enough working years left to build the kind of retirement benefits that can comfortably sustain life here. After years of hard work, the thought of reaching retirement and still worrying about bills, housing, and everyday expenses can feel overwhelming.
We knew we needed something more. Not another job. Not more hours. But a flexible and legitimate business that could help us create additional income now and continue to complement the retirement benefits we will eventually receive.
Then my wife came across a digital business opportunity. At first, I was skeptical. I had seen so many things online that sounded too good to be true. But she took the time to learn more, and the more she shared with me, the more I began to see that this was different. It was flexible, genuine, and something we could build gradually alongside our careers.
When I joined her, everything changed. For the first time, we found something we could build together from home without adding more stress to our lives. We started slowly. We stayed consistent. And over time, this business gave us more flexibility, more hope, and a way to create additional income for the future.
Now, instead of feeling anxious about getting older, we feel like we are building something that can support us in the years ahead. Something that can work alongside our retirement benefits and help us enjoy the life we worked so hard to build.
Today, my wife and I are building this business together, one step at a time. We now mentor other parents and working professionals, especially those who moved abroad later in life, and want a genuine way to supplement their income, prepare for retirement, and create more freedom from the comfort of home.
